We just received notice that the baseball game at Ottawa was cancelled due to weather. Our bus is returning to Manlius and students will be calling parents for transportation or may ride the 5:00 athletic shuttle to home towns.

Dear Storm Students, Staff, and Families,
With deep sadness, I inform you about a tragic accident that has resulted in a significant loss in our schools and our community. This morning, a Bureau Valley student died in a car accident.
Our district is committed to doing everything we can to help our students with the grieving and healing process. To that end, we have activated our crisis counseling team to be at our school today, July 15th, from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, and tomorrow, Friday, July 16th, from 8:00 AM-Noon. Students may visit a counselor in person or complete the form below for the counselor to follow up with them.
This loss will affect everyone in our school family and the Bureau Valley Community. Students may have a difficult time dealing with the loss, and we encourage parents to talk with their child(ren) and for students to seek help if needed.
At this time, the district will not be releasing the student’s name out of respect for the privacy of the family. I know you join me in extending our heartfelt condolences to all of the family involved. Dear Parents, We have recently been notified that the USDA will be extending the program that provides free meals for all students into the 21-22 school year. These free meals will begin in August 2021 and will be available through May 2022.
Even though your student will receive a free meal for the 21-22 school year, we encourage you to complete the Free/Reduced Lunch Application during registration this summer. The District uses this application to determine if your family qualifies for a fee waiver. The $100 per student registration fee will be waived completely for a family that qualifies for free meals. That fee is only $25 per student for a family that qualifies for reduced meals. This application document will be available during registration.

Registration Options for 2021-22:
Online(Strongly Encouraged): Beginning July 12, 2021 through July 30, 2021, parents may log into their student's Teacherease account and register their student(s) for the 2021-22 school year. Online registration allows parents to pay for fees with a debit or credit card. Some paper forms may be required, depending on the age of the student. Any required paper forms may be dropped off at your student’s building office beginning July 26th. Parents can also pay by check or cash at your student’s building office beginning July 26th.
Print Forms from www.bv340.org: Another option is to print the forms, found online at www.bv340.org, and deliver the completed forms to your student’s building office beginning July 26th along with payments.
In Person Registration by Appointment: Parents may begin calling their student’s building for an appointment on July 21st. Appointments will be scheduled during the week of July 26th - July 30th. Locations are: Wyanet Elementary PreK - 2nd; Walnut Elementary PreK - 5th; Manlius Elementary/JH 3rd - 8th; and High School in Manlius 9th - 12th. Available times are:

Here you will find the Registration Fees for the 2021-22 school year. There is information on immunization and health requirements, forms for school physicals and class supply lists.
A sports physical clinic will be held at Bureau Valley High School on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 3:30-5:30 pm. This is for all incoming 5th, 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade students. Please click on the link attached to sign up for an appointment time. Enter through the Storm Gym doors at the south side of the building at your scheduled time. Cost will be $20.00 payable in cash or check made out to BVHS. Packets (consisting of sport physical form, concussion form, insurance form, medical form, etc.) will be available for pick up in the school office or at the door the night of the clinic. If the packets are not signed ahead of time by a parent, you must bring a parent with you to your appointment. We will be following IDPH and CDC's guidelines of wearing a mask over your mouth and nose and social distancing.
