Red Ribbon Week has been so much fun in Manlius this week! Today was Halloween Day and students and staff wore their Halloween colors to school in support!

Way to go 8th and 7th grade girls basketball teams!!! They promised me a pair of W’s this morning when they headed to Streator for the first round of SRC Tournament play and they kept their promise! They will play in Streator on Tuesday and we will post game information as soon as we receive it. ⚡️🏀⚡️

BVJH Interact Club held a Bake Sale and 50-50 Raffle at the 6th grade girls basketball game tonight and raised over $125 for The Believe Foundation in support of those fighting cancer. Thanks to all who supported this important cause!





Thank you to Walnut’s Masonic Lodge #722 for coming to Manlius today for our annual CHIP (CHild Identification Program) day and to our BVJH Interact students for their assistance today with this process!




Mrs. Knapp’s 6th grade artists are focused on painting their color wheels with tints and shades. They will mix the primary colors to create the secondary and intermediate colors. They will also mix tints and shades of each color.



Mrs. Knapp’s third grade artists are mixing a tint of violet to create this night sky painting. They will add a black silhouette during their next class.



Mrs. Bell’s 4th graders are participating in the WQAD Classroom Kindness Challenge. Today they wrote compliments on each person’s pumpkin.


Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Ackerman’s Buddy Club with our Life Skills and 3rd graders met today to socialize and play board games in the Multi Purpose Room. Spoiler- Mrs. Wilson lost at Go Fish! 🐠





Mrs. Shipp’s class enjoyed some reading time in the BV Courtyard today to enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery. Now that is my kind of classroom! 🌺🌿🌼🍂
