BVJH teachers Ms. Smith, Mrs. Harrell, Ms. Taylor, and Ms. Heing worked together in December to give their students a book to take home over Christmas break and enjoy. π

Congratulations to BVE December Students of the Month!
The December STEM activities for the 4th & 5th grade students included creating a chemical reaction with baking soda and vinegar inside a cookie cutter, learning about water stratification using red and green mints and warm water, and finally challenging their classmates during the Rudolph races where the students decorated a ballon with antlers and a red nose.
Congratulations to the ornament contest winners in Ms. Ackerman's room! Students had to create an ornament and a sales pitch to describe why their ornament should be voted for. Great job to all students who participated this year! They all turned out wonderful. π
