We are excited to welcome everyone back to school tomorrow. Please remember that students should not be dropped off before 7:15 AM in the morning and that school ends at 2:00 PM this week. In Manlius our 3-8 bus riders are dismissed first and any students being picked up will come out after the buses depart for everyone's safety. All pick up cars need to line up behind the buses which line up at approximately 1:50. Thank you in advance for your patience on our first day. ⚡️

BVJH/BVE wants to remind you of Backpack Night tonight in Manlius from 6:00-7:00. Students will receive their lockers, schedules, and get a chance to meet some of their teachers. We are excited to see students back on Wednesday with a 2:00 dismissal.

Football Camp Announcement:
6th-8th grade football camp is next week, July 15th-18th from 5:30-7:30. Anyone attending the camp, there will be a helmet pick up at Bourquin Field from 12:00-1:00 on Sunday, July 14th. Any questions, please contact Coach Helms.

JH Baseball & Softball Sign-up:
With school approaching, it is time to sign up for the 2024-2025 junior high softball and baseball teams. Coach Schisler and Coach Shepard will be in contact via email with the parents who complete the sign-up forms found in all 7th and 8th grade parents' emails. The first day of practice for softball will be on July 29th and baseball will be on August 5th.
All athletes need to have a sports physical on file at the school office, as well as a Medical Permit and Concussion Protocol form completed and turned in BEFORE the first day of practice. All paperwork is attached can be found in the JH office during registration times. Please contact Ms. Kluck, JH Athletic Director, at kkluck@bureauvalley.net with any questions on this upcoming season. Enjoy the rest of your summer and as always, GO STORM!

Bureau Valley Junior High/Elementary celebrated two veteran staff members today as they retire with a combined total of 65 years of service to students and families. Good luck to Mrs. Rediger and Mrs. Hasbrook, we will miss you very much and wish you all the best! 🩵⚡️💙

Congratulations to Arabella on her Perfect Attendance Award in 4th grade for our 23/24 school year. ⚡️


Congratulations to our BVE 5th graders who received classroom awards today. Similar to 8th grade Promotion, students received the Presidential Education Award as well as content area awards. Way to go 5th grade and keep up the great work at BVJH next year!

Ms. Bitting's 3rd graders released a few biodegradable balloons on the 100th day of school. Many weeks later, a letter arrived in the mail from Wapakoneta, Ohio letting the class know that one of their balloons had been found and had traveled approximately 350 miles!





Mrs. Corwin's Manlius Brainstorm students and staff had a great time bowling at Pin Splitters in Princeton this afternoon. What a great way to end a successful year with our BV students! ⚡️










4th grade enjoyed a day of learning and glowing!
