Hat Day was a huge success in Manlius today! Grades 3-12 collected $400 to donate to the Manlius Fire Department in memory of 911. Thanks to all who donated and to all first responders for all they do!

This morning, August 27, 2019, the school district was made aware of an alleged threat to the school from a student who was not on school grounds. The Bureau County Sheriff's Department was notified immediately. The administration and staff then performed safety protocol steps to ensure the safety of all students and staff in the building. The Sheriff’s department swiftly contained the situation by placing the student into custody. The situation will continue to be monitored by the Sheriff’s department and school administration. The District takes all threats seriously and will continue to investigate any and all allegations to ensure that we provide the safest environment possible for everyone in our district.
Softball Update - there will be NO practice this Wednesday after our 11:00 Dismissal.

BVJH Girls Softball had their first double header in Manlius today against Annawan. We played hard and displayed great sportsmanship and never gave up, can’t ask for more than that! Way to go BVJH!

WOW! We had so many amazing volunteers show up to help us finish our Manlius Playground Build today! Many thanks to Geronimo, Michlig, BV Staff members and everyone else who braved the heat, rain and mud for our students’ benefit! Finishing touches area still needed, so the playground is not open yet, but here is a sneak peek!
What a great start to our new playground! Thanks so much to all who helped today, you made a big difference in what we got accomplished. Tomorrow morning we start at 7:00 AM and work until we are done so please join us! Drinks and lunch will be provided.
