It was an amazing weekend at the first competition of the season, joining 34 teams from across the Midwest (and even California!) at the Renaissance Coliseum in Peoria.
🚨 Highlights:
28 students (4 from Bureau Valley)
Finished 9th overall with an 8-4 record
Captain of the 6th-ranked alliance in playoffs!

Competed hard through the double-elimination bracket, finishing with a 1-2 playoff record

🔧 This year’s game, “Reefscape,” challenged teams to clean the reef, repopulate it with coral, and climb aboard a barge , and our team delivered!

Our Advanced Food students put their culinary skills to the test with a fresh and flavorful chicken stir-fry! 🥦🌶️ From slicing veggies to mastering the perfect stir, they created a colorful, nutritious meal packed with flavor. 🍛✨

Civics students spent class time today researching the 27 amendments in the U.S Constitution! Students were asked to share which amendment they believe is most important.
