Due to the potential for inclement weather overnight, the FCA meeting scheduled for Wednesday the 25th has been canceled out of an abundance of caution. The next FCA meeting is planned for 7:15 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1st.
As World History students tackle their unit on conflict, they held "Cabinet Meetings" today to identify research-based strategies and develop their own plans for settling the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict.


We are becoming experts with our throwing and catching in Adapted PE, and today we used baseball gloves. Josh, Owen, Jr and Callie did a fantastic job!




High school band and chorus members came together this morning to submit a recording of the National Anthem to the Quad City Steamwheelers Football Team. Students will perform at the arena football game on Friday, March 17. Keep an eye out for information on purchasing tickets to that game! #gostorm


The Bureau Valley Scholastic Bowl team went 3-0 in rounds 4 - 6 of Conference play with wins over Erie-Prophetstown (160-150), Orion (220-160), and Mendota (210-160).

Students in Introduction to Agriculture are learning about the parts of a flower. Under the direction of Ag Student Teacher, Miss McCleery, they created 3-D Flower diagrams!


Theatre construction students show off their first piece for the upcoming musical.

The BV Rewards Card winner was drawn, and Connor Scott is the recipient of a $100 gift card. All students are reminded to participate in the activities on the back of the 3rd quarter cards for a chance to win in March.

The results are in for the BV Statistic Olympics! Liana Ledergerber ran away with the gold. The race for silver and bronze was close with Nicole Kerber finishing with the silver and Isaac Attig earning the bronze. Congratulations!

Students in General Physical Education have been participating in a Tchoukball Tournament this week. The championship game was played today and this group of students came out on top during the 6th hour tournament. Congratulations to the class champions!
