The BVHS Drama Dept. welcomes audiences back to the auditorium on Fri. Nov. 12th at 7 pm, Sat., Nov. 13th at 7 pm, and Sun., Nov. 14th at 2 pm. Students will perform their own originally written adaptation of A Christmas Carol called Past. Present. Future_
Today Miss Johnston's Horticulture class had a guest speaker, Mr. Anderson. He came to class to discuss root structures. He shared some examples of both fibrous and tap root systems. Mr. Anderson even helped the class dig some soybeans to look at an example of a tap root!




This week in Earth Science - students put their “hurricane proof” houses to the test! A few roofs were lost, but all-in-all the students displayed great leadership and collaboration skills as they designed their houses with others.

The 3rd Hour Leadership class recently concluded a unit on Leadership skills, challenges, successes, and failures. These interviews included Mr. Price and Mr. Bickett. A big thank you to all who participated in this assignment both within the school and in the community.


World History students are adding to our class timeline by posting images that represent the topics they chose for their recent world history research papers.

Nice to know that at least one elementary student wants to be a teacher (like mom) when she grows up.
