The Bureau County Health Department is hosting a vaccination clinic tomorrow (Thursday, April 22nd) from 3:30-6:00 p.m. at the Bureau County Fair Grounds for students aged 16-17 years old. A link to register has been emailed to all BVHS students and parents/guardians.
All juniors will be taking the Illinois Science Assessment on Thursday at 8am in the auditorium. Attendance is mandatory for all juniors, including full-time remote students. Bring your fully-charged Chromebook and a book in case you finish early; cell phones not permitted.

Traditional Spring sports up next at BVHS. Varsity baseball and softball open up at HOME tomorrow at 4:30 vs. Newman. B/G track meet scheduled for Tuesday was moved to Thursday due to anticipated poor weather on Tuesday. Thursdays track meet will be a 4:30 start @Hall.

Saturday, April 17th was a exciting day at BVHS. Volleyball sweep over Stark County all 3 levels to end their season. Senior recognition prior to the football game. Amazed by the efforts of our cheer, dance, and pep band. Football team made improvements this Spring!

BVHS students who receive their 1st vaccine dosage on Tues. will get another sign-up form from the ROE in the coming weeks. A tentative date of May 11th has been set for students' 2nd dosage. Reminder that "fully vaccinated" is defined as two weeks after a last dosage.
Reminder: Volleyball Saturday @ BVHS vs. Stark County 9,10,11. Football vs. St.Bede @ BVHS 1:00 Kickoff. Senior recognition tomorrow for football, cheer, dance and pep band. Please be at the stadium at 12:15 recognition will start at 12:30. Those being recognized use GATE A.

To attend, a student must use the Google form in the email to sign up by 8:00 a.m. on Monday, April 19th.
