What a night in the Storm Cellar!
The Bureau Valley Storm and the Wethersfield Flying Geese battled through three incredibly competitive matches in front of a packed, pink crowd:
Freshman: 21–18, 20–22, 15–11
JV: 25–21, 22–25, 18–16
Varsity: 25–20, 23–25, 15–25
While the volleyball was electric, the bigger win came off the court! Thanks to our NHS and Volleyball Program for hosting a phenomenal Pink Night, raising over $2,000 for the Believe Foundation! 💗

General PE students are enjoying tournament play at the end of our volleyball unit. 🏐 They have been working on their serving, passing and hitting skills over the past two weeks!
English II Honors students have moved on to begin The Crucible...but only after finishing their debates! Students worked in groups of two or three to research and gather evidence, build their arguments, and present their findings to their fellow classmates. Students had to write a script, create a works cited page, and practice the timing of their statements in order to get it just right. All of the groups did a wonderful job in giving thought-provoking arguments and remaining respectful of their peers, even if they disagreed.

The F/S Storm traveled to Carthage to take on Illini-West and came home with a 32–16 victory! The win improves their record to 6–1 overall and 5–0 in conference play!

What an incredible way to wrap up Homecoming Week. From pajamas to Disney, wild west vs west coast to pink out, to BV STORM, our students (and staff) showed up with energy and Storm spirit all week long.
Today's BV Pride was the perfect finale - our halls were filled with Storm colors that represents what it means to be part of the BV family.
Big win for the SENIORS - who won the overall Homecoming Dress Up Week title. Your leadership and pride set an amazing example for our entire district and community.
