National Honor Society Seniors selected the TBK Bank Entertainment Center in Bettendorf for their senior field trip. The day started with bowling, laser tag, and arcade/hologate virtual reality and ended with lunch and shakes at Steel Plow Burger Company.

National Honor Society officers present a check for $303 to Erin Rosenthal for "The Store" in Sheffield. This LifeSavings Grant from ImpactLife was received from the blood drive that our NHS sponsored on February 15 at the school. We were happy to help support "The Store."

Plenty of delicious recipes being whipped up in the Family and Consumer Science classes, including loaves of bread and pancakes. Homemade pizza, monkey bread, and scotcharoos in the coming weeks too. Mmmm!!!
Ohm's Law describes the relationships between voltage, resistance, and current. Physical Science students are building circuits and making measurements with multimeters to discover the relationships between these variables.

Western Civ students studied the Crusades this week. Each group created their own research-based board game that encompassed historical events, geography, and strategy in their quest for the Holy Land. There was a good mix of approaches from some very creative groups!

Vectors are quantities that have magnitude and direction. Physics students are constructing a "treasure map" from a number of displacement vectors, trading with another group, and then using their vectors to find the buried treasure.

Today was another adorable Tiny Twisters day with the BVHS Child Care class. All enjoyed making bunny hats and an Easter egg hunt. The last Tiny Twisters event will celebrate May Day on Monday, May 1st.
