If you received a kindergarten packet for the 2024-25 school year, please fill it out and return to the school by tomorrow, Friday, February 23rd.
If you have or know someone who has a child that will be 5 on or before September 1st, 2024, Bureau Valley Wyanet is holding their Kindergarten pre-registration the week of February 20th -23rd from 8:30am-2:00pm. Please bring a certified copy of your child's birth certificate and proof of residency.

To go along with the launch of our One School, One Book program, Mrs. Wagner’s STEAM classes learned about rodents like rats, hamsters & capybaras. They built mazes that they thought a pet rodent would like to play in. Each student got to take home their very own "pet hamster!"
We will be dismissing school tomorrow, Thursday, February 15th at 11:00am for School Improvement Day. No Lunch will be served. AM and PM Pre-K have a field trip to Apollo Theater.

Mrs. Flowers’ class celebrated 101 day!! They started the day making Dalmatian shirts and headbands. They did a lot of Dalmatian activities in reading, math, and writing.

To celebrate Grounhog's Day last week, Mrs. Wagner's STEAM students learned some fun facts about groundhogs and their burrows. Then, students designed burrows out of pattern blocks!
Our Wyanet
physical education classes just completed a bowling unit. The focus was on how to hold and roll the ball. Students also worked on their math skills while adding up their pin totals.
PTO is holding a meeting at Bureau Valley Manlius Elementary at 4:00pm on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. Everyone is welcome to attend.

In STEAM, Mrs Wagner's students learned that snowflakes have six sides, and every snowflake begins when water vapor freezes around dust or pollen. It changes many times on its journey. Students had fun making their own snowflakes. Thanks again to those who donated Q-tips!
