7th/8th Grade Volleyball Game Update:
Olgesby Washington's 8th grade boys' basketball team made it to state and will play on Thursday. The administration has asked to reschedule our 7th/8th grade volleyball game to Wednesday, February 19th. The bus will leave at 3:45 and the 7th grade game will begin at 5:00. Thursday, February 20th the girls will have practice from 3:00-5:00.

BV Elementary STEM
Students in 3rd grade were tasked with creating a free standing snowman out of paper.
Students in 4th grade used their folding skills to make paper footballs and their engineering skills to crest a goal post out of straws, pipe cleaners, and tape.
Students in 5th grade were tasked with creating a bobsled that could successfully slide down a ramp.

Even with the late start, 4th grade was still able to have their Glacier National Park virtual lesson. They learned about the rock layers and how glaciers formed the area of the park. It was a great experience!

The 8th graders took on the role of teachers, leading lessons on the Industrial Revolution & Reconstruction. By diving deep into historical events & sharing their knowledge with their classmates, they gained a deeper understanding of the past and its impact on our world today.





Congratulations to our BVE Manlius students who participated in ILMEA All State on Saturday! They were able to sing with the best in the state! Go Storm!
