BVHS Drama welcomes you to the auditorium for Shrek the Musical on Friday the 11th at 6 pm, Saturday the 12th at 6 pm, and Sunday the 13th at 2 pm. Things are looking up and we are excited to share this big, bright, beautiful show with our audience! Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students, children and seniors.

Special BVHS Update:The BVHS Scholastic Bowl team won the Wethersfield Regional Championship this evening! They advance to the Elmwood Sectional on Saturday, March 12th. Congrats to all team members and coaches! This is an outstanding accomplishment!

This young man had an outstanding senior basketball season! Tonight he made 9 3’s at the Mendota Sectional falling just short of qualifying for the IHSA three point championship at the U of I. Good luck at the next level Carter!

An amazing turnout at the Prairie Arts Center’s Art gallery in Princeton for the opening night of a gallery of artwork by the super talented BVHS artists. The gallery will remain on display throughout the month of March. Great work Mrs. Nichols and Art 4 students!!!

Good luck to Carter Salisbury as he represents Bureau Valley at the Mendota Sectional IHSA Three-Point Shooting Competition. Carter will shoot around 5:30 this evening. No ticket will need to be purchased to watch Carter shoot. The gym will be cleared following the competition.

What a special night at Westwood in Sterling. Super proud of all our BV track athletes! Finally back on the track indoors. Thank you to the participating teams, coaches and volunteers for making tonight a success. It is going to be an exciting track season at BVHS!

Force vectors have a strength and direction. Physics students are using a force table and trigonometry to determine the sum of the three force vectors.




Isotopes are atoms of the same element that have different masses because they contain different numbers of neutrons. Physical Science students are working to calculate the average atomic mass of the newly-discovered element M&M-ium.




Congrats to Sterling Horner on her logo design being chosen for this year’s 150th Walnut Days Celebration! Her design will be on t-shirts, drink koozies, and other memorabilia!
