ALL Baseball/Softball games scheduled vs. Mendota for today are canceled.
Varsity Baseball/Softball will play tomorrow Wednesday, May 4th @ Mendota 4:30.
JV Baseball/Softball games vs. Mendota WILL NOT be rescheduled!
One of the locals joined the Personal Fitness PE class today on their nature walk for Mileage Monday. Everyone was happy to enjoy the sunshine for a change.

Physics students are proving the Law of Conservation of Momentum. Whether the cars collide and bounce off each other, collide and stick together, or are launched apart by a spring-loaded piston, the momentum must remain the same after the event.

The Bureau Valley Fellowship of Christian Athletes invites seniors and their families to the 2022 Baccalaureate service at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 8, 2022 in the BVHS Auditorium. The program will include a photo/video presentation, music, and refreshments.

Physical Science students simulate the decay of a radioactive element and its half-life another way: the intact Twizzler represents a group of atoms. It is cut in half, weighed, and measured again and again. When too small to weigh or measure, all of the atoms have decayed.
The Child Care class had a couple visitors today - Thanks to the grandma's and aunts that brought them in.
It was Fruit Tart day in Foods class the other day. They all did a great job
Congrats to our varsity baseball team on their win over Princeton Monday night! Storm JV softball also played very well at Princeton. Varsity softball and FS baseball need to bounce back on Thursday when we play Princeton. B/G Track athletes performed well in tough conditions!

There was no Sophomore representative so we gladly brought Owen back to test his talents against the impairment goggles. In the near future we hope to name a single BV Mario Cart Champion amongst this group of winners!
Physics students are studying the relationship between impulse and momentum. By measuring the mass, force, and velocity, the impulse on and momentum of the cart can be determined. The force is then increased to establish the relationship between the variables.
BVHS Track & Field Scheduling Update:
The Orion Charger Track & Field Invite scheduled for today (Wednesday, April 20th) is CANCELED!.
The Boys and Girls Track Teams will be participating in the Rock Falls Rocket Track & Field Invite on Friday, April 22nd.
