**Special congratulations to our varsity girls basketball team on last night's convincing win over Mendota!! Nice job ladies!!
Scholastic Bowl 2-1 on the night with wins over Princeton (320-130) and Newman (240-110). Loss to Monmouth-Roseville in round three (250-150). Blake Helms was the top scorer with 11 toss-ups.

Chemistry students are building models of atoms to help visualize the shapes and orientations of the orbitals in the Quantum Mechanical Model of the atom.
BVHS Girls Basketball Update: Varsity girls lost this evening 41-30 to IVC. A spirited 4th quarter comeback got the game back to single digits at one time but the girls run out of time.

Thanks to the maintenance crew for installing six new water bottle fillers over winter break.
Holiday spirit of giving at BV is strong, including collections for the Bivins family after their home fire. The Girls basketball team donated 1/3 of its concession stand profits, and another $1650 was raised from the 50/50 and Booster Club at Tuesday’s home game vs. Princeton.
