Another strong night for Bureau Valley basketball!
Our boys’ Freshmen team represented well at the St. Bede Holiday Jamboree, earning two wins and an undefeated finish to the event!
Our girls traveled to A-Town for a Lincoln Trail Conference matchup, with the JV securing a solid victory, while the Varsity team fell short to a talented A-Town team.
A reminder that the Christmas Classic takes place TOMORROW in the Storm Cellar!

Saturday Storm Results!
- Freshman Storm Girls rolled past Hall 37–24!
- Freshman Storm Boys surged to a 52–36 win over Rock Falls!
- In Colmone Classic action, Varsity Boys fell to Putnam County 34–57.

🏀 Busy Day for the Storm!
It’s a packed Saturday for our student-athletes!
- Boys Varsity Basketball: The Storm will take the court at 12:00 PM for their final game of the Colmone Classic! They’ll face either Galva or Putnam County, depending on the outcome of this morning’s 9:00 AM matchup. Come out and support our boys as they close out the tournament!
- Freshmen Basketball Doubleheader at the Storm Cellar! Start your morning with back-to-back games: 9:00 AM – Girls vs. Hall; 10:15 AM – Boys vs. Rock Falls

Our Sophomore Storm came away with a 53–46 win over Mendota.
Varsity battled in a tight matchup, coming up just short with a 57–59 final against St. Bede.
The Varsity Storm will be back in action on Saturday, December 13th at 12:00 PM at Hall High School.
