Modern American History students had the opportunity to listen to guest speaker Pete Micale this morning! Mr. Micale spent 30 years in the United States Air Force including time underground in nuclear missile silos!

Mrs. Sisk's science classes have been in full swing! Forensics has been learning about forgeries and how different pens can be detected using chromatography. Zoology has been working on informational posters about different classes of sea stars. Earth science and Physical science took the opportunity to discuss the recent northern lights display as a part of their atmosphere unit and waves unit respectively.

BVHS National Honor Society teamed up with the Volleyball Team to host a Pink Night game against Kewanee Wethersfield, honoring breast cancer fighters, survivors, and those we’ve lost. Together, we raised $2,209 to support The Believe Foundation! 🌸 Alayna from the foundation joined us to accept the donation, which will help provide beauty and travel supports for local women undergoing treatment.

Spanish classes celebrated Day of the Dead at the beginning of November. Spanish 1 decorated Day of the Dead pictures, Spanish 2 and 3 made skeletons and Spanish 4 decorated and put up papeles picados to celebrate Day of the Dead.
