BVHS cheerleading announcement: Storm Sweetie practice schedule for Saturday, Jan.15th will be postponed to Monday, Jan. 17th from 9-11. The Cheer team is excited to see all the storm sweeties on Monday! Please enter the north main entrance at BVHS.

BVHS Freshman boys basketball scheduling update: The freshman boys Newman basketball jamboree for today Saturday, Jan. 15th is cancelled. All other BV activities are still on for now. Watch for more weather related BV announcements.

Congrats to the BV varsity boys basketball team and coaching staff on an exciting win over Winnebago this morning at the RF shootout! Very nice team effort! Sophomore boys lost a close game to Bago. BV girls basketball play at Wethersfield today at 1:00 and 2:30.

All after-school/evening activities for Bureau Valley schools have been canceled for Wednesday, January 5th. There will be no practices or meetings for high school students before school on Thursday, January 6th.
Elements in the Periodic Table are arranged according to numerous chemical properties. To introduce this concept, Chemistry students organized "aliens" into a table based on their characteristics (body shape, number of fingers, amount of hair, etc.).
All BVHS students should review their second semester schedules on TeacjerEase, including where their 1st period class meets. Printed schedules will not be handed out.
