Senior Lydia Massa is a recipient of the ImpactLife Student Impact Award and Certificate of Achievement. Lydia received the award for earring 6 donation credits before graduation. She received a credit each time she donated blood and she also received credit for recruiting another blood donor. Lydia first donated blood at the BVHS blood drive during her sophomore year when she turned 16 and has continued to make a difference in saving lives since.

🥨🥗 Students in Mrs. Shimmin's Food Science class are spreading joy at Bureau Valley! Today, they whipped up delicious soft pretzels and set up a salad bar to say thank you to our amazing teachers and staff. Gratitude in action!

These amazing young people have completed their final speech in Honors Communication! They were nervous at the beginning of the semester about the idea of delivering 8 min long extemporaneous speeches but they all did great! If you would like to hear these great speakers in action, one will be speaking at baccalaureate and 3 will be speaking at graduation! Go Storm!

Congrats to the BVHS Bass Fishing teams on competing in last week's IHSA Sectional at Pool 13. Bracin Patnoe's boat finished 5th out of 22. His total weight would have won 14 other IHSA Sectionals. Kudos to Connor, Jon and Coach Harris for also representing BV!
