Last week, English III Honors students worked to complete character profiles for The Canterbury Tales. They had to mingle amongst themselves and find other characters who they could "friend" based upon each other's profiles. After everyone found their friends, they collaborated as a class to correctly fill in The Feudal Triangle. During Medieval times, society was structured according to a feudal system, where everyone was divided according to social and financial status. Students had to label the triangle, and decide where each character would belong according to their occupation and social standing.
