BVHS Retiree Luncheon Grilling - May 30 - Bureau Valley FFA grills for the BVHS Retiree Luncheon! We will be grilling from 9:45 AM - 12:00 PM. To grill come to back Lunchroom/Maintenance Doors (Behind the School)
Farm bureau Tractor Trek - June 8 - The Farm Bureau Tractor Trek will take place on June 8, 2024. FFA fixes the Trekers Breakfast & Lunch! The trek will begin at River Valley on 40 near Sheffield! More details to follow.
Prime members to Prime Quarter - June 9 - An incentive that honors members who have gone above and beyond this school year with a free meal sponsored by the Ag Boosters. Please sign up no later than 5/30/2024 to reserve your spot. *Qualifications found on Sign Up Sheet*
State FFA Convention - June 11-13 - Members selected to represent BV at the State FFA Convention will enjoy hearing from keynote speakers, attending workshops, taking part in a career/college fair and so much more!
Chicken Harvest - June 24 - Sign up to come experience chicken butchering first hand!! Eldon Cook will lead the way! This is a really neat experience!
June SAE Visits - June 24 - Sign up for a time for Mrs. Shimmin and Miss Jacobs to come checkout your Supervised Agricultural Experience project and get some awesome pictures of you in action doing your SAE!
Sheffield Summer Festival - June 27 & 29 - Bureau Valley FFA will have a Food Stand on Thursday, June 27 (5:00 - 9:00) & Saturday, June 29 (1:00 - 9:00) at the Sheffield Summer Festival in the West Park!
Section 3 Horse Show & Vo-Ag Fair - July 1 & 2 - Exhibit horses, livestock, metal working, woodworking projects and more at the Section 3 Fair! Reach out to Mrs. Shimmin for more info! Entries due June 1, 2024.
BV FFA July ShinDig - July 14 - All HS FFA members are invited to join us at the Besler's Family Pond for a cookout! Bring your fishing poles and a potluck dish to pass! We will have a meeting then enjoy some time around the pond!

Buda Day Trike Races - July 20 - The town of Buda is having a "Buda Day" event and have asked that the FFA help run the Kids Trike Races from 12:45 PM - 2:00 PM. This would be a great community service activity!

Miss Berger's Life Skill class read a news article about Legoland California and they had the opportunity to act like architects. They wrote out plans and drew their vision before building. They did an awesome job!
