Big thanks to BV Foundation for bringing Absolute Science to our school! Our K-5 students had a blast observing the scientist demonstrate the Van de Graaff generator and dive into the physics of the Hoot Tube. Such a fun and educational experience! 🔬⚡
Ms Shipp and her 1st grade class have been patiently waiting weeks for our praying mantis egg sac to hatch, and it finally did! The students enjoyed holding the babies and we then released them into nature🌳
BV Walnut 4th grade had the best time in Chicago seeing all of the incredible works of art they have been learning about this year! One of the best parts of the day was seeing how many people would linger near our group to hear Mrs. Berry's in depth explanation of the artists and their work. Thank you, Mrs. Berry for planning this wonderful trip!
Throughout the year, our second-graders got pen pals from Wyanet. They have enjoyed exchanging letters throughout the year. Today, they were lucky enough to meet and enjoy the weather!
4th grade enjoyed Earth Day activities, a special visit with some of their classmate's pigs, and Friday's FFA petting zoo!
Mrs. Henegar's April student of the month was Camden! Camden has an incredible thirst for knowledge and he loves to share with the class. He is a kind and welcoming friend to all. Way to go, Camden!

Tomorrow, April 19th we will all be going to the high school to the FFA petting zoo. This is a wonderful time for all of our students. We wanted to remind you to dress accordingly as it could be chilly out.

Mrs. Henegar's March student of the month was Hunter C! Hunter leads with kindness and is a friend to all in our classroom. His silly personality brightens our days and you can always count on him for a positive outlook. We love having Hunter in our class!
First grade had so much fun learning about the eclipse last week/today and getting to see it, just made their day! It was such a great experience.
