First grade took advantage of the nice weather and read our books outside! ☀️
Our final activity for Week of the Young Child is Tasty Tuesday: Make a snack like no bake Cheerio bars. Cooking together is a great way to teach children math and measuring skills or simply make tacos!
Today's Week of the Young Child activity is Music Monday: Create a noise maker. Use a household item like a cup with a lid. Put Cheerios inside the item. Shake the noise maker and dance along. Have fun!
Here's Friday's Week of the Young Child Activity. Family Friday: Make your own checker board or tic-tac-toe board on paper and play together. Use Cheerios for markers. Make it a family game night!
Thursday's Week of the Young Child. Artsy Thursday: Glue Cheerios to paper and color them with markers. Make different shapes or animal shapes. You can even draw your name! Have fun!!

We are celebrating the "Week of the Young Child". Each day there will an activity. Today's is WORK TOGETHER WEDNESDAY. Grab a large cup and have 1 person toss Cheerios while the other catches them with the cup. See how many you catch in 1 minute. Then trade off.
Enjoy the fun.
