In SEL, we read Balloons Over Broadway, which shares the story of how the famous Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade balloons were created. We discussed all the problem-solving that went into making the balloons and connected it to how we problem-solve in our own lives and what tools help us succeed. Then, we got to make our own balloons! Everyone loved the creative process and was excited to show off their unique designs!
Mrs. Henegars student of the month for the month of November was Dalton! Dalton works so hard in class and is respectful towards staff and students. Way to go Dalton!

1st grade enjoyed learning about and seeing the X-ray images of different bones that make up our bodies 🦴
K-5 recently finished a frisbee unit that involved different activities to develop throwing and catching skills. The activities range from 2 minute frisbee touchdown, Avengers assemble, hula hoop challenge and saving the garden gnomes.
