Monday, April 10th-Dress Like a Rock Star
Tuesday, April 11th- "Twin Day"
Wednesday, April 12th -Wear Your Favorite Team Gear
Thursday, April 13th- Dress Like a Rainbow
Friday, April 14th - Wear Your Tie-Dyed Shirt or a Bright Colored Shirt
Students will also be celebrating next week with special visitors, treats, and activities.

Our Stick Together poster is complete...it is a beautiful sunflower reminding us that Spring is near. About 50 students were able to help over the past few weeks. Here is the group that put on the final touches. We will look forward to our next poster!
We were delighted to have Laurie Windows come to share her knowledge and experience with the Iditarod. She did a wonderful job presenting and the first graders were a great audience. She brought in a sled, mushing gear, pictures, and... 2 mushing DOGS! We had a great time!
Set those clocks. We dismiss at 11:00 on March 16th. There will be no lunch served.
"Stick Together" is off to a great start. This is a choice students can make in the mornings to help the school community create our first sticker poster. Stay tuned for what the finished picture is!

If you have not already paid, fourth quarter milk/juice money is due tomorrow Monday, February 27th. The cost is $17.60.
The following classes will skate Monday, Wednesday, and Friday this week 8:10-8:50 Miss Daley's class, 8:50-9:30 Mrs. DeBrock's class, and 9:30-10:10 Miss DeBrock's class. On Tuesday and Thursday, the following classes will skate Miss Burkman's class 8:10-8:50, Mrs.Klingenberg's class 8:50-9:30, and Mrs. Flowers' class 9:30-10:10.

If you have a child entering kindergarten in the fall of 2023. Please remember to turn in your packet that was sent home on February 15th. If you did not receive a packet, please contact the school at 815/699-2251.

If you have a child who will be 5 on or before September 1, 2023, they are eligible to attend Kindergarten in the fall. Pre-Kindergarten registration will be held the week of Tuesday, February 21st through Friday, February 24th from 8:30 a.m.-2:00p.m. Please bring a certified copy of your child's birth certificate and proof of residency.
Tomorrow, February 16th, we will be dismissing at 11:00 a.m. for a School Improvement Day. No lunch will be served. AM and PM Pre-K will attend from 8-10:30 a.m. for a field trip to Stick It Tumbling. Also, No School on Friday, February 17th and Monday, February 20th. Enjoy the long weekend!
Wyanet Prek visited Dr. Puhr’s dentist office for Dental Hygiene month! They learned the importance of good dental hygiene and how to care for their teeth. Molly the monkey showed the students what to expect during a dental visit. The kids can’t wait to visit their dentist now!
