If you have not already paid, fourth quarter milk/juice money is due tomorrow Monday, February 27th. The cost is $17.60.

The following classes will skate Monday, Wednesday, and Friday this week 8:10-8:50 Miss Daley's class, 8:50-9:30 Mrs. DeBrock's class, and 9:30-10:10 Miss DeBrock's class. On Tuesday and Thursday, the following classes will skate Miss Burkman's class 8:10-8:50, Mrs.Klingenberg's class 8:50-9:30, and Mrs. Flowers' class 9:30-10:10.

If you have a child entering kindergarten in the fall of 2023. Please remember to turn in your packet that was sent home on February 15th. If you did not receive a packet, please contact the school at 815/699-2251.

If you have a child who will be 5 on or before September 1, 2023, they are eligible to attend Kindergarten in the fall. Pre-Kindergarten registration will be held the week of Tuesday, February 21st through Friday, February 24th from 8:30 a.m.-2:00p.m. Please bring a certified copy of your child's birth certificate and proof of residency.

Wyanet Prek visited Dr. Puhr’s dentist office for Dental Hygiene month! They learned the importance of good dental hygiene and how to care for their teeth. Molly the monkey showed the students what to expect during a dental visit. The kids can’t wait to visit their dentist now!









Our preschool students grabbed their favorite Valentine and came to the school for a craft night. Once Upon a Craft made an adorable dog and cat craft for the kids to paint and assemble with their Valentine. They turned out so cute!

We are excited to be celebrating Valentine's Day with classroom parties on Tuesday, February 14th. Please make sure your child's valentines are at school by Friday, February 10th.

First grade music classes have been studying China. We have made grains, performed the dragon dance, and played the dragon dance. We celebrated the Chinese New Year.


Mrs. Flowers’ class celebrated being 101 days smarter! We worked together to build words using a Dalmatian matching game. We wrote about what we would do if we were 101 years old. We ended our day with some tasty treats like Dalmatian dots, Scooby snacks, and puppy chow.
