Kindergarten: Building a snowman. The students worked in pairs and trios to build a snowman from various pieces of physical education equipment . The object was to work on team building, cooperation and communication while working on reading and math skills. The students did an outstanding job.




For Friday's 12 Days of Kindness activity, Walnut's 4th grade students teamed up with 1st grade students to decorate and enioy their gingerbread men pancakes!







Gingerbread day was a huge success in Ms. Davis's and Mrs. Warner's 1st grade classes!! We enjoyed pancakes with our 4th grade friends, coloring, playing with gingerbread playdoh and creating! Merry Christmas everyone! 🎄











3rd, 4th, and 5th graders enjoyed some Christmas-themed Minute to Win It Games like a "snowball fight" and "snowman stack" during our fun last day before break!











Mrs. Henegar's December student of the month was Maya! Maya works so hard in class and can always see the positive in any situation. She is kind, thoughtful, and a friend to all. Way to go, Maya!

Mrs. Henegar's and Mrs. Kluever's 4th grade students kicked off the 12 Days of Kindness this week. Students made compliment presents for one another and designed bookmarks for our library.







Mrs. Kluever's Student of the Month for the month of November was Owen Wilt! Owen had earned the title by being a hard worker, by being respectful to students and staff, and by accepting new challenges. Congratulations, Owen!
