4th graders in Mrs. Kluever's and Mrs. Henegar's classes have been reading about healthy and eco-friendly eating around the world. One story focused on adding bugs to your daily diet. To culminate, students had an opportunity to sample flavored crickets and bug suckers!

We had so much fun in science in 1st grade! We made oobleck in honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday and discovered rainbow making with Skittles!! 🌈

Mrs. Henegar's March student of the month is Nolan! Nolan has been showing a great deal of responsibility and is a great friend to his classmates. You can always count on Nolan to include those around him and make you laugh. Way to go, Nolan!

Good morning.
We are reminding everyone that BV schools will dismiss today at 11:00 for our SIP day. There will be no lunch served.
We also wanted to let you know tomorrow's breakfast will be strawberry bagel instead of cini minis.
Have a wonderful day!

For the past few weeks in social studies, our 4th graders have been taking what they've learned in their economics unit, and applied it to planning their own dream small businesses. The students got creative and came up with funding ideas, pricing, charitable donations, even creating marketing with their own slogans and logos. Good job to our future entrepreneurs!

Congratulations Lillie. Great job!

Mrs. Henegar's student of the month for February was Clara! Clara is always willing to lend a helping hand to both students and staff members. She puts forth great effort each day and is always trying to grow. Way to go, Clara!

Congratulations Ellie. Great job!

Remember to RSVP by tomorrow. Free food and a great show!

This morning we had visitors from our high school's FFA. They are celebrating National FFA week and came to speak to 3rd grade about what FFA is. They were nice enough to provide each 3rd grade student with a book called "Farmer George Plants a Nation." Thanks Kaitlyn & Peyton!

K-2 students had a fun time sledding this afternoon! ❄️🛷

Please scan the qr code and RSVP for a night full of science and wonder. Note the due date of March 1st.
